DESCRIPTION
The Street Painting Academy will be visiting Arizona schools in March to hold Italian Street Painting Workshop & Mini Festivals. This is a special opportunity for children to express their creative sides on the asphalt by learning this 500 year old Italian tradition. I guide students through their own visual performance to create a large scale soft pastel mural on their school campus. The school is left with a mosaic of vibrant color and imagery sprung from young imaginations working together that will wear away with time.
Our visit begins with a 15-30 minute interactive presentation on the history and evolution of street painting, presenting the work of professional and student artists. This is followed by a series of one hour workshops with classes to produce works of art on the pavement of your school campus.
Fee:
$700 per day.
Fee does not include soft pastels.
These may be ordered by school or through the Street Painting Academy at wholesale prices.
